Choosing What To Wear

When choosing outfits for your pictures, there are a few helpful ideas I have figured out.  First would be the idea to try to coordinate the outfits to indicate you are in a group.  Looking at a color wheel is the best way to decide which colors will best compliment each other.
I always suggest only using at most three colors to base off of.  Try to refrain colors such as white, black and grey.  The reason being that white has a tendency to flush people out of the photo with too much light.  While Black and grey are great accent colors, but when used as the main color scheme can be distracting from the picture as a whole.
Using two colors opposite of each other on the color wheel will create the best balance.  While using three colors, keeping the colors on a tripod or triangle will always prove to high light each of the colors strong points.

When choosing to accessorize, I suggest that more is better when it comes to individual pictures to create your own personal story and show your character in the photos.  But when taking group pictures, minimal accessories are the way to go.  Hope this all helps and please feel free to contact me with any questions you might have :)
